Local Stamp Shows and Exhibitions

Here are links to some of the upcoming stamp shows in around the lower mainland of BC and the US Pacific northwest for 2024. Those hosting exhibits are perfect events to get started in exhibiting if you are so inclined as judging tends to be easier than in national and international shows. Otherwise, there are usually lots of dealers with wide selections of stamps, covers, and other philatelic material. Bring money! Click on the name to go directly to the host site (if there is one):​

The Vancouver Coins, Stamps & Collectables Show

 

 

40+ tables of coins, stamps and collectables.  Buy - Sell - Trade! There'll be dealers in Canadian coins, art, world coins, ancient coins, stamps, covers, art, postcards, medals, tokens, bank notes and MORE.

The show is held at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre located at 6688 Southoaks Crescent, Burnaby, 4 km east of Metrotown at the intersection of Kingsway & Sperling (Sperling becomes Southoaks south of Kingsway).

Easy access from Metrotown by #119 "Edmonds Station" Bus or by Skytrain (stop at Edmonds Station and take #119 back to Metrotown).

Many dealers are buying and selling Modern and Ancient Coins, stamps, postcards, paper money, and other collectibles. Free Appraisals

Hours: Saturday, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm

Admission: $3 per person (under age 16 FREE)

Free Underground Parking, parking on Beresford Street behind the Centre, and around neighborhoods

Many restaurants nearby.

Profits go towards supporting local charities

Extras: Plenty of other restaurants, ATMs and shopping at nearby Highgate Shopping Centre, only eight minutes away walking.

AMPEX 2025

April 27, 2025 - Fraser Valley Philatelic Club, WJ Mouat Senior Secondary School Cafeteria, 32355 Mouat Drive, Abbotsford, BC

Show runs from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm with free admission and free parking. Ten plus dealers with bid board and door prizes. Free advice on dealing with inherited collections.
